Consistency Rules

Firm Rules

• IP Address Policy: Your IP address for Challenge Phase, and live accounts must match the same geographical region. If it changes, you must provide proof (e.g., plane tickets or live location verification) to justify the change.
• Martingale: Opening 5 simultaneous positions in drawdown on the same pair is allowed.
• Excessive Scalping: Holding 50%+ of trades for less than a minute.
• Martingale: Opening 5 simultaneous positions in drawdown on the same pair.
• All-in: Making a single trade with no stop-loss or risking more than the drawdown limit to pass or fail the challenge. This rule also applies for the funded stage.
• Gamifying: Trading 2 accounts against each other, going long on one and short on the other, with the hope of passing the challenge. A trade refers to one or more positions on the same pair with similar timing and lot size. Small-lot or random “gambling” entries don’t qualify and may lead to disqualification.

• News Trading: Standard programs Trades cannot be opened or closed within 2 minutes before or after a red folder news. Violations, including during auto-closure, disqualify evaluation or challenge accounts. Profits from restricted news events are not credited during the challenge or live phase. Instant Mini, Instant funding & 1-Step BNPL News trading is allowed with no restrictions. 2-Step Omo News trading is fully permitted during Phase 1 and Phase 2 with no restrictions. In the funded stage, news trading is still allowed but any profit made during a news event within a 4-minute window, 2 minutes before and after is capped at 0.50% of your account balance.
• Funded Daily Profit Cap: In the funded stage, if total profits exceed $5,000, no single trade or trading day (measured as the time between two trades, not by calendar day) may account for more than 50% of the total profit. Profits above this threshold are reduced to meet the 50% limit. After surpassing $5,000 in payouts, traders must complete a mandatory risk interview with an analyst. One reschedules is allowed, but failure to attend the rescheduled session will result in the payout being withheld. Traders have two weeks from the invitation date to complete the interview. Random interviews may also be conducted for profits below $5,000, and accounts reset to the starting balance after payout.
• Risk Limit: This rule applies only to a small minority of traders who show poor risk management. It’s intended to help them trade more responsibly and with discipline. Unless notified, you may trade freely without restrictions. However, if you exceed the risk limits stated in your email, your account will be breached.
• Buyback: You can restore a funded account instantly via Buyback by paying a fee, no challenge needed

• Expert advisors: EAs are not permitted under any circumstances across all our platforms.
• Copy Trading: Manual Copy Trading is allowed Between your own Maven trading accounts, other prop firm accounts and broker accounts. Trade copiers can't be used on platforms offered and copy other trades is strictly prohibited
• Instant Mini, Instant, 1-Step Standard, 3-step Standard & 1-Step BNPL: Evaluation & Funded: None
• 2-Step Standard: Evaluation & Funded: 3 Profitable days of 0.5% profit each day
• 2-Step Omo: Evaluation & Funded: 4 Profitable days of 0.5% profit each day
• 2-Step Omo Time Limit: The 2-Step Omo has a combined maximum duration of 180 days across both phase 1 and 2, with no separate deadline per phase.
• Minimum Trade Hold Time Rules: 1-Step BNPL, 1 Step Standard, 2 Step Standard, 3 Step Standard, and Instant Program Evaluation and Funded: 1 Minute - Accounts violating this rule will be terminated during review
• Instant Mini & 2 Step Omo (Funded Only): Every trade must remain open for a minimum of 150 seconds (2.5 minutes). Trades closed before this threshold will not count toward your progress.
• 1-Step BNPL & 2-Step Omo M2 Account Saver: M2 Account Saver Automatically triggers when drawdown reaches 2% of the account balance. First breach closes all open trades and permanently reduces profit split to 50%. Second breach is a hard breach
• Instant Mini & Instant Funding Risk Rules: At no point can your account have more than a 1% loss in floating PnL. This is the difference between your balance and equity, if this happens then your account will be breached.
• Instant Mini Max Open Positions: Only one trade may be open at any given time.
• 1-Step: target 8%, daily loss 3%, maximum loss 5%, no consistency rule, split 80%.
• 2-Step: Phase 1 target 8% and Phase 2 target 5%, daily loss 4%, maximum loss 8%, split 80%.
• 3-Step: 3% target per phase, daily loss 2%, maximum loss 3% - the tightest structure offered, where the total loss allowance equals a single phase target.
• Instant: no profit target, maximum loss 3%, split 80%.
• Maven states on its own site that the journey is SIMULATED trading.

Payout Policy

Profit split is 80% across most accounts, 70% on Prediction Markets and Mini. Payouts are available every 10 business days after the first trade, via direct bank transfer (country dependent) or Rise (with a $20 fee). A $10,000 withdrawal cap per 30 days applies with overflow provisions.
